I generally like your posts GH but don't totally agree with this one. While i take the point about it being a positive story of human endeavour, the north west is utterly saturated with football clubs. If they really wanted to make a point to the Glazers, then surely it would have been more constructive to actually all go and support Bury rather than ground share with them as they originally did. What has happened in the past month to Bury surely only accentuates that point - I don't have much sympathy with the Shakers for many of the reasons already discussed but the disaffected of Old Trafford could have done something a lot more constructive for a genuine club like Bury than setting up a vanity project to Make A Point to the owners of Big Dung. Particularly when it was obvious to all but the most deluded that said vanity project was only ever going to end in tears.
