I agree but it depends if you're intentionally starving them/depriving them of medicines. I don't believe that has ever been shown to be the case in recent times.
I really think it's a stretch to compare us to the Nazis. I can listen to, hear, and understand an argument to suggest that the bombing of say Dresden or Hamburg was a war crime. I'll argue it based on a number of factors but I can understand it.
But we never built gas chambers. We never built crematoriums to dispose of those coming through the former. We didn't commit a single mass atrocity against a civilian centre during World War 2. Either outside or even inside Germany.
Our Army was controlled, systematic, and generally acted legally.
It's a huge step to suggest we were anything like Das Reich, or Totenkopf or the EinsatzKommando. These units, in the case of the latter, were literally set up to murder civilians. Right?
