In very much not greedy league news, I went to Boreham Wood vs Chesterfield yesterday.
I was quite impressed with their setup. Neat stadium, decent enough facilities, good view of the pitch etc. and a reasonable atmosphere for the divisionís smallest crowd. But: they played goal music, which is unforgivable.
As an aside, it was a really decent game of football. Some takeaways from it:
- Boreham Wood know how to get it down and make the most of pace. They played well. - Chesterfield are an awful, awful side. I was shocked at just how poor they were. - Boreham Wood gave them a right pasting, but gifted them two daft goals.
