If Labour has always been a remain party, why did they advocate leave in their election manifesto?
Surely not a cynical ploy to ensnare all their leave voting supporters in the North?
Nor would they simultaneously talk up remain in the South in pursuit of the remain vote.
The sad fact is,that by backing both hare and hounds, they have made themselves unelectable.
They have ceded the remain vote, largely to the Lib Dems, and the leave vote, firstly to the Brexit Party, although some leavers will return to the tories if Boris pulls off Brexit.
Corbyn has succeeded in bringing their approval rating down to the level previously only reached by Brown. Whilst this is most welcome while the current bunch hold sway,it is bad news for the post-Brexit future of our country.
Our democracy has operated,as well as any political construct can,on the adversarial Party system.
Given the state of the established Parties, this is now under unprecedented threat.
This appears to have escaped the attention of our politically blinded media, none of whom are capable of an objective analysis.
