The question isn't whether it is a harder challenge, but whether we are capable of meeting that challenge.
You don't think we are.
I think we very much are.
We grow continuously and organically under Jim Gannon. When we stay up this season, we will be better (and further away from relegation) the season after. A trend continuing until we leave the division the correct way.
Until we find a team or team who had very similar set-up, player recruitment, management style, team built together over a number of seasons etc... than you're/we're just not comparing like with like.
However you spin it, the belief that we will go down is a negative/pessimistic one.
Just like the belief we will stay up with ease is a positive/optimistic one.
And they are both just opinions - not facts. No one more likely to occur than the other - correlation does not indicate causation and all that.
