Puskás Akadémia FC 1 Debreceni VSC 1
Honours even in the Sunday lunchtime clash at the Pancho Arena as Debreceni VSC lost ground on the leaders at the top of the Fizz Liga.
DVSC took the lead against seventh place Puskás Akadémia through a penalty from top scorer Donát Bárány in the 24th minute.
But that was cancelled out six minutes later by an equaliser from late-blooming star Dániel Lukács.
The 29-year-old forced his way into the Hungarian national team in September and has since netted twice in five appearances for the Magyars, with goals against Armenia and Rep Ireland.
Győri ETO beat rock bottom Kazincbarcika 3-1 to extend their lead at the top but with Ferencvárosi still to play tonight. Debrecen remain third.
Next game is not until after the international break when Debrecen host Ferencvárosi at the Nagyerdei Stadium on April 4.
