A happy trip north for DVSC to rock bottom Kazincbarcika as the Lokos banged three in without reply.

Newly promoted Kazincbarcijka are on their first ever foray into the Fizz Liga top flight but it is proving a thoroughly miserable experience as they languish 11 points adrift at the bottom and looking relegation certainties.

The Lokos had triumphed 2-1 at the club near the Slovakian border in their first away game of the season back in August but this was a much more resounding victory and keeps their title hopes alive.

21 year old Serbian attacking midfielder Dorde Gordic - on loan from Belgian club Lommel - set Debrecen on their way in the 22nd minutw.

Debrecen were made to wait to seal the victory but further goals from top scorer Donat Barany in the 68th minute and veteran winger Balazs Dzsudzsak in the 81st meant a comfortable 3-0 away win.

In a later game today, Ferencvaros went top on goal difference with a 3-1 away win at Debrecen’s local rivals Nyiregyhaza. Debrecen with 43 points are third and six adrift of Ferencvaros and second placed Gyori ETO.

But both title rivals still have to come to Debrecen’s Nagyerdei Staium in April, with eight left to play.

Debrecen’s next game is the local clash at home to ninth placed Nyiregyhaza on Saturday.
