His contract is apparently until 2028.
At £35k a week, that's £4.5m left on it; a 3 or 4 year deal here on half that money, which would still likely make him our top earner, wouldn't be worth that.
There's absolutely no reason for him to walk away from 2 years of the best money he may ever make in football.
