Not sure the Wrexflix game was pivotal last season though

The McClean/liner incident was utterly shocking. And the ref should definitely have sent off Dobson for the foul on Camps.

But we didn't do enough in the rest of the game to warrant a win.

It is when you also throw in the scandalous officiating of their game v Burton that things take a much darker turn.

Do I think Wrexflix were stupid enough to pass a brown envelope to officials? No.

Do I think a "conversation" was had somewhere in the corridors of power between the League and someone who oversees officials, along the lines of "look we could really do with these guys promoted so they don't pull their investment?" Yes.
