Stokes impressed when he came on by running forward & directly at goal with speed. Stokes approach highlights the very lateral (or backward), ponderous and overly cautious approach of several others. Stokes deserves more game time against better opposition, but we also need more consistent performances from others. A lateral, tippy-tappy strategy needs others to work harder to be in position to receive the ball in good positions to attack the goal.
