Happy with a very satisfying win.
Strangely I had a feeling the bogey might be vanquished, and that is always more than satisfying innit. With our up and down dodgy form and some dreadful history, it was not logical but ... ? I dunno.
Sometimes I think I should bet on feelings I get about games, but what if I jinxed the County? I'm not superstitious but you can't be too careful!
No feelings about the next game except that it could be another tough un.
Incidentally my worst memories of Mansfield was a full house there because they had just been drawn against yoonited or somebody so everybody and their dog was there after tickets for the cup tie. Worse was we ended up in an open terrace in the persisting monsoon-like rain. Don't think I have ever been so wet in my life after a couple of hours, Soaked through to the underwear, socks, etc we squelched our way back to the bus but was still wet when we arrived back in Stockport. Pretty sure back in the 70's, I can't be the only one to remember that one. No doubt somebody else remembers the score, I just remember being wet, wet, wet!
