Stockport County Supporters’ Co-operative AGM 2025

As the Stockport County Supporters’ Co-operative approaches our Annual General Meeting on Monday 24th November, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve achieved together over the past 12 months — and to thank you for your continued and invaluable support.

The more members we have, the stronger our collective voice becomes — especially when representing County fans in discussions with the Club, Stockport Council, and key national bodies such as the new Independent Football Regulator.

A Year of Progress and Partnership

It’s been another busy and rewarding year for the Co-op, working hard on behalf of our members and the wider County fanbase. Here are just a few highlights from the past 12 months:

🏟️ Edgeley Park Redevelopment

We proudly supported the Club’s redevelopment plans — speaking at Council meetings, engaging with local committees, and ensuring County fans were represented positively in both local and national media.

⚽ Fan Representation

We met with Martyn Henderson, the new Independent Football Regulator, to make sure fans’ voices are heard when shaping the future of our clubs — and to press for stronger financial safeguards across football.

🌍 Charity Support

We partnered with Forever Friends of Uganda for a fantastic evening with Fraser Horsfall and Lewis Bate, raising over £3,000 to support education projects for children in Uganda.

💙 Local Giving

Thanks to your generosity, our supporters’ calendar raised £800 for Walthew House, a wonderful local charity supporting people with sight and hearing loss.

📈 Growing Together

Our membership continues to grow — from 218 to 275 since the last AGM. A huge thank-you to everyone who’s joined or renewed this year!

👧 Junior Football Support

We were proud to sponsor the Community Trust’s Flag Bearer Scheme, giving nearly 400 junior players the chance to lead the team out at Edgeley Park and enjoy a matchday experience they’ll never forget.

🎟️ Supporting Fans in Need

We purchased four season tickets to help County fans facing financial hardship attend games free of charge — ensuring that every fan can stay connected to the club they love. If you or any County fan you know would like help, please email - season.tickets@countysupporterscoop.co.uk.
