I thought the team fought for each other throughout, and reminded me of Jimbo's team of 2018-19 with their attitude.
The curious thing is that we now have one of the best goal differences in the division, even though we've had a few 1-0s, and as far as I remember, this was the first time that we have scored 3 in the league?
The fans were impressive, making a noise all night.
I was impressed that we respected the minute's silence before the game, and warmly applauded the remembrance service. I think it's the first time I have seen a fully robed-up vicar on a football pitch.
Also impressive was the reception that we gave Ryan Croasdale, who was cheered off when substituted; makes a change from a few years ago, when former heroes were generally greeted with "County reject" or "you're only here for the money" !!
A great night, only slightly spoiled by my difficult journey back to the midlands.
"I love them boys!"![]()
