I have it on good authority that the mini-harpoons were attached to AC (alternate current) that, although leaving players foaming at the mouth, didn’t actually kill them…unlike DC (direct current) which tests proved….did.
The lobbed lump hammerage was amazingly successful but the FA banned it as they considered it ‘cruel and disrespectful’ to players.
