Still talk of signing the Everton pair. Roman Dixon as a cover RB on loan and a permanent for Tyler Onyango as defensive cover who can also cover for Bate. Surprised this hasn’t so far been confirmed especially as Roman was seen in our training kit at the Crewe game last Tuesday evening, if they are signed this would leave one loan spot.

Derby County are reported to want a League One loan for Dajaune Brown at 19 who is a 6ft tall attacking midfielder/striker, who is on the fringe of their first team squad and has plenty of pace. Although probably like Williams will end up at Barnsley. Williams, we were previously linked with and he went to Cheltenham.

Dave has previously said that we have some lads in training with us over the summer so maybe we will see what develops in the next 16 days to the end of the transfer window. Although watching our youngsters Che Gardner, Jid Okeke and Arian Allen against Crewe, we have some excellent talent for the future. Our strong squad will get stronger and stronger and it is certainly exciting times, isn’t it, to be a Stockport County fan!!
