I can see season ticket sales being hit in the EFL next season. For kids who play football on Saturday mornings this will be the 3rd fixture in March alone that they will miss.

Unfortunately I’ve decided not to renew our two season tickets.

I understand in the 2028/29 season they will allow 3pm kick offs to be broadcast. Why not bring this forward to next season. Who would object ?

This rule has stood since the 1960’s. The Burnley Chairman at the time argued to the Football League that televising top-tier matches would affect lower-league clubs attendances.
It’s an old crap rule that needs scrapping now not in 2028. It will have the reverse effect lowering attendances if we carry on with these daft kick off times.
