On my long journey back home. I was reflecting on another great County result with generally good performances from most players including both our Goalies. Thought we were over cautious in our play at times - taking the safe option when there were other players in space going forward, but that might have been down to the size of the pitch (as DC says) and that Wigan are far from being the weakest team we’ve played in the Division.
First time I’ve been to Wigan ground. Half time entertainment was entertaining (but fixed). Enjoyed the chant which asked “How long are your arms Mr Tickle?”.
Had meat & potato pie, chips & gravy (which you don’t get where I live) and fell asleep all the way to Euston.
