All the boys put a good shift in , thought Knoyle got stuck in , Touray very steady , MSH creating bits of havoc here and there , also thought Diamond did pretty well when he came on .
But am not a great fan of these out of town stadiums .Readings ground reminded me a bit of Colchester’s , bit of a soulless place . Imagine if Edgeley Park was relocated to say , five miles the other side of Poynton , the heart and soul of our club would be ripped out . Edgeley is bang in the community even though it is a complete pain in the neck to expand it with space at a premium !
I think Bolton Wanderers lost a bit of their heart and community feel playing in Horwich , miles away from the town but a decent stadium to be fair .
Was speaking to a Reading fan before the game there is a lot of unrest there , lot of demonstrations , think it’s something to do with ownership issues . Thankfully we have Sir Mark Stott running our show !
But despite the perishing cold at Reading , County played great and as Hedgie points out we could stay up there near the play odds and maybe sneak into them
