Was almost on platform 2 when a railway staff member informed me the game was off .
Contacted train line and after a lot of discussions they have agreed to refund me my rail fare . A bit of discretion for a change !
Was due to meet my son Adam who is a big County fan from London . He got as far as Milton Keynes and turned back .
A huge inconvenience for all concerned !
