Whilst I would love to agree with you, and I do on the fact that he looks happy to be with us, sometimes the chance to ply your trade at a higher level is too tempting, he has to think of his family and future, in my 69 years I have seen many players who have been happy here move on for the chance of playing at their highest possible level, imagine if a decent club from lets say, the championship came in offering him 10-15 grand a week and a 3 year contract could you really refuse him the chance. I am obviously happy that we dont need to sell him, I am only thinking of the player.
