Defensively I think he's sound and he has very good fitness levels. The attacking side of his game might not be strong enough? Think he goes wide too much, crosses hit the first man and he can check back, rather than taking on his man.
Having said that MSH is the first choice, so Minihan is a very good understudy. I would keep him.
