And as mentioned above, the financial cost of sacking Rusk would not be insignificant either.
A change in tactics, style and mindset is clearly needed; fans have been saying as much since early in Rusk's reign. But personally I'm not confident Rusk is the right person to do that. Also the fact things have got this bad under McGee's support makes me wonder whether he brings much benefit either...And then there's also the issue of Wilson's recruitment, which has left us vulnerable despite our huge squad and budget. Unfortuntely it all looks like a bit of a balls-up right now...
I'd be delighted to be proven wrong on that.
