IMO this form stretches further back than the appointment of Rusk and the stats bear that out. Rusks 9 games have garnered 2 fewer points than Gannon last 9 league games. Factor in the 2 incorrect red cards Rusk has had to deal with and you start to see the difference in form isn’t huge.

Right now we need a goal scorer. The defence looks much more solid but that has been at the sacrifice of goals partly because the strikers we have don’t suit the system. Part of that is on Rusk for selecting that system, but I can understand why he has. Get a goal scorer in quickly who suits the system and things will improve.
