There is however the possibility that the Club's new structure would have been a factor. The Manager used to work with the owner whilst now he will be expected to work for him via his immediate boss Simon Wilson. Whether Wilson reports to Jonathan Vaughan (CEO) is unclear however Simon Wilson is not a Board member (according to COWS) so Vaughan will clearly be above Wilson in the pecking order. Did Mark Stott have any involvement in Jim's sacking or did he see the First Team Manager on a par with the Club Shop Manager, Lottery Manager and Ticket office Manager?
I can't imagine that anyone who is their own Man could work under such constraints and such a convoluted structure.
