League 2 Managers ie John Askey might have taken a punt however most have little experience of working with budgets that are bigger than their direct competitors.
I thought Paul Cook or Danny Cowley might have been a good fit but would taking over from a long experienced Manager and being answerable to Simon Wilson be appealing.
There's lots of suggestions that Simon Rusk is Wilson's man. No proof just circumstantial stuff.
