We're just outside the play off zone, so of course Stott and Gannon are going to say they will make a push for the play offs.
However, the reality is that we are going to see major transformation in the summer.
How motivated will our part time players be? How motivated will those players that don't feel they've got the ability to make the next step be?
I think a number of our players have already switched off, since the takeover.
It's about managing expectations. Some are going to use this takeover as a big stick to beat Jim Gannon.
We need to be realistic and patient. He's done his job of keeping us up this season. If we can find a few loanees to help us make the play offs, fantastic, but we shouldn't throw our toys out of the pram if that doesn't happen and we fizzle out and finish mid table.
The rebuild will happen in the summer.
