Why? When we play the 4-2-3-1 system properly (which we have shown we can do several times) we are playing with four attackers when weíre attacking. Depending on where the ball is at the time you have either the two wide men or the player in the hole supporting the central striker. Itís a flexible and fluid formation and thatís why itís been a successful system for us and others.
The problem we have right now is we arenít using the system effectively.
