There's £1000s every week in the boozers, eateries and newsagents on Castle Street. That could all be going to the club and I suspect any potential owner with half a brain recognises that.
I'm not against a new ground, but it has to be better than what we've got. Same with anything; players, manager, kits, floodlights, absolutely anything. If it's not an improvement, what's the point? Just building a flat pack with poor transport connections and whacking a Toby Carvery pub on the side and serving Fosters and John Smiths and hoping to take the same revenue as Castle Street is not an improvement.
