Unfortunately at L1/L2/NL level it is impossible to be successful without carrying a fair amount of debt/owner equity, even Peterborough who have a decent model are £7M in debt. The most important thing is that the owners invest their own money not somebody else's (eg Bury, Macc etc) once you lose control to a corporate loan shark you are dead in the water.
