That's not the same break even strategy as we have now.
I would expect a new owner to put considerable investment into the Club, but they need to be developing our fan base, continuing the Club's excellent work in the schools, working with the Co-op on Community Tickets. Increasing our fan base, so we are more sustainable and bring in more money through the gate.
I'd also think that a new owner would have a similar strategy to Elwood or Peterborough, whereby we develop players, so one can be sold each season for big money, then we invest in new prospects, whilst moving through the leagues ourselves.
The stadium needs significant investment. Even the Cheadle End is looking very tired. The concourse need refurbishing. The lounges and conferencing facilities are a complete mess, some of the toilets are disgraceful. Paint flaking off the walls, carpets are taped together... Badly needs investment.
Would be good to see a development at the Railway End too and maybe even include a hotel.
