Now we have a Left back i would have hoped that
4-4-2 or 4-3-3 would be the favoured format with Keane and Palmer at the heart of defence and Festus on the bench. Turnbull or Walker as a Holding Midfielder should be sufficient.
3-5-2 has left the wide left player, be it Leesley, Cowan or Jackson, badly exposed and has been the route of a lot of the goals conceded. If we stick the new chap there we will no doubt see the same result as one player cannot mark more than one opponent.
On Saturday we looked disjointed against a side that plays the same format week in week out.
I'd like us to do the same. We did last season and we didn't do too bad.
