LK is centre ground, at best/worst (delete as applicable). What she is not, is left-wing. I'm taking off my lefty goggles here as well, because as Biggles indicates, both sides tend to think the BBC is against them.
As Stranded has indicated, the main problem with BBC is giving equal time to corresponding views that don't warrant it. So in party politics, they should really be giving balance to the major parties of whatever colour and arguably more time to fringe parties of national importance, e.g. SNP, PC, Greens, Brexit (though arguably the latter, under the UKIP guise and its current incarnation as Farage's vehicle for self-promotion, has been given far more than the other 3 over the years). What they shouldn't have to do is give equal air time to climate change deniers whose argument is based on thoroughly rubbished science. They should have air time, yes (you should not stamp out opposing views), but it should be in the context of where those views sit in a significant body of evidence. The way they are presented by the BBC you would imagine there is equal weight to be given.
