Season 1 (this season) somewhere around mid-table/lower-midtable - say 12th-16th.
Season 2 - Push on a bit more towards the playoffs - between 7th-10th.
Season 3 - Inside the playoffs but probably towards the lower end - between 4th-7th
Season 4 - A real push in towards the top 2-3 of the division with a real threat/push for the title.
Season 5 - (if we don't go up in season 4 - all out for the title).
If it takes 4-5 seasons and we continue to build good strong foundations on and off the pitch in that time, that will enable us to continue slow flourishing growth and upwards momentum inside the Football League then so be it.
Far better than race through in a season or two, and fall back down in 2 or 3 seasons.
Granted it's not a straight choice between the two, we could go straight up and flourish, and we could do it slowly and fail once up. However the Jim Gannon way is slow but steady progress.
