I am back and excited at the prospect of my beloved county returning to the football league. It is many years since I last posted but have always enjoyed reading your posts as it helped me connect with the club. I have supported the hatters since 1947 when my grandad first took me wearing his scarf and armed with a rattle. We used sit/stand under what is now the Cheadle End and I recall it used to leak when it rained so we would move around. I was born in Stockport in 1941 and many of my family lived and worked there going back to the early 1800s. I now reside in North Wales and often travel to home matches on the train. Some of the older members might recall my postings which I look forward to adding to in the future. Its' good to back.
