Kalamazoo Gas Prices Return To Thursday Increase
Week 24 - THU JUN 12 - $4.159 Gas prices have been going up on Mondays and Tuesdays in recent weeks. The price increased on Thursday this week, the long traditional day for gas prices to restore. I heard on the news that gasoline currently being sold was made from $90 per barrel oil. The report said that gasoline refined from oil at current prices ($130 range) will cost the consumer nearly $6 per gallon! Corn futures are at a new record high today, $7.09 per bushel, due to recent severe weather that has destroyed and flooded fields in Iowa and neighboring states. It's too late to plant more corn, so many of these fields will now be planted with soybeans. Here are some of todays other commodities prices: - Crude Oil - $136.74 per barrel
- Gasoline - $3.5260 per gallon
- Gold - $870.10 per troy ounce
- Silver - $16.485 per troy ounce
- Copper - $3.5380 per pound
- Coffee - $1.37 per pound
- 1 British Pound = $1.9472
- 1 Euro = $1.5464
- $1 = $1.0228 Canadian
- $1 = 107.885 Japanese Yen
