Today has been a day of revelation, angry tears and disbelief. I wanted to wake up from what seemed to be a bad dream but logged on the computer tonight and it was all still true.

I will start from the beginning and make that part of the story brief. Some of you may remember the whole Hasta situation. Hasta was born here and given to Seamus as his pick. He was later sold to someone who could later not keep him and given to John Stencel. John made a post on here that he had him.I reacted at that time angrily not because I thought John was a bad guy but because one of ours had slipped thru the cracks. Over the next few months and lots of conversations John assured me he was going to do right by the dog. He did do a bunch of health testing on him and said he was training him etc.. All I said is fine but if you get rid of him please contact us.
Fast forward a year and some months to last december I find an ad on this board of all places that Hasta is for sale. I scream, I cry I freak out I have nothing but his word but becasue I dont operate as one who would ever #### anyone over I cant believe this is happening to me. His response was simple I did not think you would want to pay for him. Well no I dont want to pay for a dog I bred that you cant keep but I was owed the first phone call. After a long chain of events I get a text one night that I can buy Hasta if I want him. My husband sold one of his vehicles to secure the money for the dog and we proceeded. We arranged his transfer and paid his asking price of $1200 plus about $400 additional in costs to get him here wire transfers etc. This took place within a week. The entire situation went great. WE got the dog, all of his papers, other then missing a canine we were not aware of we were thrilled. John seemed sincere that he was back with us and has contacted me a few times about how great he looked. I being a peacemaker truly thought he was watching the videos and becoming my friend on facebook because he cared about the dog.

HOW Wrong I was!! During the time that we discussed the purchase it was mentioned that he had collected a few straws on the dog. He informed that he was going to use them later for personal use, and possibly sell to a few he had talked to prior to selling him. Fine I dont have tolike it exists but it is what it is and again I am trusting that if and when it gets used it I will A know about it and B have some say where it goes as he mentioned he did not just want it going anywhere and he knew I knew alot of people. I just said please contact me if you are going to sell it to those guys so I can check it out. He also mentioned that I could get with him to use it and we would work something out and recently a guy in texas where it is at called me and I almost sent him to John. I had a verbal understanding and agreement and again being the most giving, the most honest, the most forgiving and the Most NAIVE I never worried.

My husband is playing around on pedigree database yesterday and looks up his dog and finds that this guy is SELLING SEMEN on pedigree data base as if he owns the dog. What happened to personal use, what happened to only to those he talked to, what happened to caring where it went now we sell it online like we are running a ####ing blue light special. The look in Shauns eyes was something I will never forget. He is out training this dog 4 days a week, he and Troy are busting their asses to make a name for the dog, fix issues that were never fixed, work out a dog that was obviously flanked the shit out of either there or earlier, and as soon as that happens Aug 12th to be exact this guy decides he is going to piggy back on thier hard work. He scraped the money together to buy OUR dog back because it was something we believe in and the money for the dog was not enough now this guy wants to make money on a dog he sold. We have never made a cent on the dog, after 10 years all we have is our name, we have busted our asses to help EVERYONE we could out, thru breedings, at shows, on the website, at the airport, housing dogs for others, opening our home to anyone who needed it. We did this for nothing except because we have embraced this as our second family. When you act the way we do, when you treat others the way we do never do you expect this to hapen to you. WE never expected that after it all we would have to fight to do his first breeding. WTF

I have not gotten one phone call he was doing it, I can only assume at this point it was a plot, it was all planned out. I am going to make some fast cash off the nice girl. Well guess what I for the most part lay down and take it but now you have screwed with those around me and Mama bear is out.

I called the NKC to tell them that I would not sign off on any of the breedings as the owner of the sire. She says the current rule is written that if they can provide paperwork that says they owened the dog at the time of collection they can sign off. I said well he siad he just had a few straws for personal use, and some friends and now he is wihtout our knowledge let alone permission he is selling it on the internet. I said it would be different if the ad was made when he had the dog but he posted the add a month ago. She looks up Hastas number and gets quiet and says not to make you madder but he has 34 yes 34 11 ####ing breedings on my dog. Not only did he have this innocent and nice conversation with me but he had already called the nkc I dont think I could spell shady any clearer. Now it was obvious that deception had taken place, him calling them coupled with me calling them months later. If he thought I would be okay with it why would he call them. Why would I think that there is a few straws and he is sitting on 11 breedings. Kim was going to talk to Del but I understand the rules they have in place and dont know if that can change for me based on my obvious proof of diception, I hope they can look at it and maybe change it so that noone else has to go thru this heartache.

I have also contacted the ABRA and will hopefully stop it there also. He was not ABRA registered at the time of collection so I hope I can fix that one at least. I have added a new pedigree to pedigree database with his real name. I caution anyone who would want to try and buy this semen to know what he has done to us, how shady and underhanded he has acted. That he never called and said I am hard up for cash I am selling some semen, have the common decency to if I cant change it at least know about it. He would always say he was not in it for the money he really wanted to do right by the dog.. MY ASS! If you want to breed to Hasta he is alive and well and we are very easy to deal with so I see no reason anyone would have to go to him. I will not ever make my dog under any circumstances available DNA testing.

Anyone who knows me knows that this is exactly the second issue I have ever had on the internet publically. I dont fight, I dont bash, I dont namecall and I always try to do the right thing. I am simply coming her to A warn people, and be I suppose seek support from the friends I have made in my time here, to do the right thing, to deal with us not him. I dont know what more he wants from us but it is the neverending nightmare, and at the end of the day Hasta makes every bit worth it. Preserving what we have worked so hard to achieve is worth it..
