It was widely reported that Mr. Arnold did identify the remains as Mr. Reeves. However, he was mistaken. He had identified Dean Manual as Mr. Reeves. He based this on the fact that Dean was wearing a wedding ring and assumed it to be Jim. Mr. Reeves did not wear a wedding ring. He wore that big diamond ring instead. Hope this clears up one of the rumors that has been around for years.
