You seem to be attacking anyone who has anything negative to say about Jim Reeves. He was a great artists, but like all of us had his failings. He was a womanizer and at times could go completely balistic, like the time he throw Jimmy Day's steel guitar off the stage, and the time he threw the drums off the stage. As for me I could care less about your feeble attempt to discredit me. In your comments about me, you failed to mention that I served 3 terms on the Board of the Academy of Country Music, was a founding Director of the International Country Music Buyers Association, managed Marty Robbins and booked Willie Nelson, Johnny Paycheck, Merle Haggard and many more. I quit the business in 1976 because I lost my taste for the business. Bea had soured on the business and knew she would never get the credit she deserved. As for my book, it's in the works and there is so much more to be written. I hope you have the guts to print this, you have my permission.
Great country music is a Reeves family tradition.
