There has been much suggestions about my mother, Bea Tery, I can tell you I observed much about the relationship between Bea nand Jim from being there. Between my Uncle Marshall Terry and my Aunt Dorothy and me, we wre there for the TV shows and interviews and the tireless hours that Bea spent to make Jim a star. When she was teaching him to sing in the soft range that he changed to, from his style that he wqs use to, Bea would get so angry and Jim would just laugh and sing in the softer way. Bea loved Jim but was not "in love" with him as he pushed her to be. There were artists that she worked for and help build their careers and Bea called them "her boys", like a mother would. I was the one that notified Bea when Jim;s plane went down and her comment "oh my lord, look what we've lost, a friend, a great artist and one of "my boys". Don M.
