I can see why John Rex won an award for this CD. It is one I never get tired of listening to...BUT I feel the same way about ALL of his CD's. I really can't pick a favorite. I love the Sexy Sax playing on the "I Can't Stop Loving You" and I love "Palm Tree In St. Lou" , "Standing in the Middle of Lonely", "Before I Died", etc...So you see, Ain't Nuttin this Soulful Singer sings that I don't LOVE!!!I wish he would get the National recognition for his contribution for keeping Jim Reeves songs for so many decades that he deserves.
What John Rex sings is real country, the new and current country, doesn't stir emotions in me and half the time I can't even understand the words they are screaming at me. I praise the Lord that I was blessed to be born in an era that loved and appreciated real country music! Thanks so much John Rex for singing songs that touch our hearts and provides song treasures for us to enjoy today and forever!
