IMHO, Nothing wrong with dating someone you meet, and are somewhat serious about. This is a small world and because of it, what would happen if you met someone at a party or event and you got along so extremely well, had a great time but later found out that they were a customer (or daughter of a customer?) of your company? Would you immediately cut off that situation and perhaps cause a further bad relationship? Don't you think doing so that this customer would probably not call you anyways?
Don't get me wrong; I don't believe in hitting on every customer you see out there, but, sometimes an exception occurs. (However, note, that this situation is much better if done outside the residence.
I don't see a problem if you do it in a responsible way.
