Re: Low extraction performance?
In my marketplace in the UK, I cleaned wool and wool rich carpets on virtually every job. I ran my Scorpion and later my Jaguar 6.6 with auxiliary tanks. The amount of fibre collected in my auxiliary tanks was significant and an absolute pain to clean out and also fibres clogging the waste valve during emptying. So I used an inline filter. OK, some days it would last half a day and sometimes barely a couple of hours but it was so much easier to empty and clean than the aux. tank. Yes, the airflow drop could be felt but maybe because I rarely exceeded 80ft of hose, the wand performance and carpet drying were never affected. Maybe Ed, just maybe, you have built a machine that has more power than it really needs
