You make a good point; using a wand, that's alot of back and forth movement with the arms!
However, I've done that to, but was a lot younger too.
Using a cimex and perhaps in certain areas, a wand (HWE) could make a great combination depending on the goals wanted to achieve.
I remember using the pull behind extraction tool with the revolving brush head. We used to offer one years and years ago (18" SPEED STEAM) however, those went out when the round revolving jet tools were introduced.
The SPEED STEAM, as an example was pretty neat and did a fast job in real large areas especially on flat low nap business carpeting.
Either way however, cleaning 70,000- or- 100,000 sq. ft of carpeting is a real challenge.
