My wife contact a local Heating/Cooling contractor to repair our refrigerator. One of the comments the nice gal on the phone said their company policy (which, btw, is consistent in almost every industry) : 1. There is a minimum charge of $75.00 for the driver to come out. 2. If the home owner is not there at the appointed time agreed, that same min. charge will be applied.
"Will you as a valued customer, agree to that?" the gal said.
Sometimes I think in our Industry (Professional Carpet Cleaning) that most operate as uniformed half hearted amateurs.
Wonder how this will turn around, if ever.
