Its funny you should bring this up because I have a severe phobia of dentists. We started as commercial high end dental offices. Man, the unhealthy things we seen. Had a client several years ago warn me to stay away from the dentist. I always left the dentist with a disease, twice it was the flu. I started watching as the techs put thier hands in my mouth then grab a pen, write stuff down, open a drawer, pull the tray closer with fingers under the tray that never gets cleaned. I kept bringing it up but they insisted it was sanitary. Gloves back in my mouth, then pull the light down by the arm that dont get wiped down, I went to see a specialist once and I got mouth, forget what they call it but some kind a fungul stuff that grows in your cheeks. Had a biopsy of that from another specialist and got an infection. One night while cleaning a dental office I looked into the cabinet that had a trash hole next to a dental chair. SOB! There was this small trash can over flowed with bloody gauze and all kinds of crap. There were opened boxes of gloves with trash on them, water container and other shit all contaminated with medical waste. Then I looked at that tray thing that slides in to you and the funky crust under it. The funny thing always was seeing the cockroaches scurry as I turned on lights and every room had next day instruments and stuff laid out on each chair.
Got an appointment next week after 2 years and Im dreading it cuz I know Im going to give them a hard time and Im walking away with some kind of disease. Sad thing is Ive been thru many dentists and havnt found one that is squared away. Well, I should say its mostly the dental women cuz they are the nasty slobs. But it beats the Navy as the doctor would work on 3-4 patientce at a time going from room to room with no gloves andcwash his hands each time he'd come in. Yeah, the taste of wet hands and nicotine. Going to the dentist back then was like doing a colon cleanse cuz you'd get the instant craps after you left.
