I remember years back, a particular cleaner who was pulling a generic upright HWE up the stairs tell me that as it was bouncing from one step to another, he lost grip of it and it went uncontrollably down and slammed into a piece of fine furniture. It ended up costing him $4,000.00 and a lost customer!
That is why I made it a policy never to bounce a machine up a stairway. If I can't carry it (ex: a Jaguar CUB) I'd rather run hoses period!
