Commercial I try and average 200 per hour,
This really comes down to on "How" you measure, For example let do commercial, I measure wall to wall then give them a price..
Lets go with the number 3,000 ft in this building and I say bid it at .15 cents per foot comes up to 450.00 for this job.
But you have to factor in half of the building is covered with computers filing cabinets and desk with other furniture, So Im really cleaning is 1,500 ft of carpet for the same 450.00
Since I'll be dragging in the Cimex for this job I can easily get that done in one hour, 450 for one hour of work, Not to bad down here,
Your price to actual ft being cleaned also double's from .15 to .30 with the furniture.
Yes those are real numbers that can easily be completed, The Key to that working so fast is the equipment in this case.
If you tried to wand that out with another system depending on other things you could drop to 3 hours to complete the same area of 1,500 ft which would still be ok, You just loose the bamm effect.
Like it or not you need more tools in the box these days, If you want to stay in the industry you have to branch out.
Been cleaning all my life and come Aug 1st I'll be in another school for stone work, I might take a swing at counter tops made of stone, Looking for more specialty work.
