I tried the standard head with metal shoes and did not like the pickup it left them too wet for my taste, I also didn't like metal shoes around ceramic tile, Like cleaning close to the kitchen with tile or an entrance way by the front door with tile, I was worried I might chip tile with the metal shoes.
I've been a big fan of the Rx20 for years now, But the price is out of reach and its not the best choice for the recoil system, But they were paid for so I used them, I love rotary extraction what ever you use its still better than pushing a wand.
I have a Green Horn wand that is setup for a 15 flow on the truck, Which is crazy for a smaller unit, You can't recover that much water, But its still harder on the body pushing that all day long compared to the rotary extraction.
I've been cleaning for 34 years now, Make choice's that will help your back for the future, I don't know your age but I'm 48 now and it shows with the problems I'm having been in this industry for so long, I'm stuck for another 20 doing this, I want easy and great results.
The rotary's come with a price I realize that, But your body is worth more than the cost of equipment, Find me on Facebook we can chat more, I don't hide my name, I also rarely post on other boards, There are better ways to clean
