------------------------------------------------
There are other machines whos performance comes close to the Jaguar 8.4, certainly at short hose lengths. Close is OK, but,-- the best is best. I'm not aware of any other manufacturer who is able to install these latest high power 8.4" vacs into their machines.
The Jaguar has been so well thought out and designed that it does not require cooling fans, just vents.
The Jaguar is, from memory, the lightest of all machines in the premium performance sector, and lighter than many in the medium class too.
The Jaguar was rectangular tanks which makes securing within the van easier.
The Jaguar has been engineered for minimum turbulence, this means maximum efficiency and less need for Defoamer (depending on products used)
The Jaguar has a dump valve marginally higher than the tank floor to increase the life of the valve's seals.
The Jaguar has auto-fill and auto-pump out as standard.
(side note: on the 2017 models: 1. Circuit Sensor; 2. Hour Meter for maintenance/time on job; 3. Exclusive Pump-Out cleaning system only to the JAG 8.4 ! )
Need I go on?
The vacs alone have a design life about three times that of a regular 3 stage unit (including carbon brushes). My earlier Jaguar 6.6 (similar but smaller vacs to 8.4) is still on the original vacs after 5 years. What does that say about reliability?
My colleague Emerson Currell cleaned university accommodation during the summer. He ran his Jaguar 6.6 at 160ft (plus a power sapping auxiliary tank) and he told me that the performance was still better than his (now back-up) top spec 2 x 3 stage machine at 25'.
What more can I say?
Safe and happy cleaning:smile:
