Hi Thomas, and :welcome:
The Airflex Storm and Jaguar 8.4 are in a different league to your current and former machines. Performance wise, you will be delighted with either, especially after your current machine.
However, the Storm has the earlier 6.6" newer generation vac motors. The Jaguar has the latest well proven 8.4" vacs with even better performance. Two of these vacs will out perform 3 of the regular 5.7" and the older 7.2" vacs used in the majority of rinse/extraction machines.
The Storm is not suitable for use with the more powerful 8.4" vacs.
The Jaguar has translucent tanks so that you can see at a glance how much water is in them without having to stop, lift the lids and look inside. The Jaguar has an 800psi pump fitted as standard. Lesser pumps are not an option. The Jaguar is the lightest high performance portable I have encountered and even lighter than many medium performance machines with twin "little vacs" and plastic pumps. I would certainly expect it to be quite a bit lighter than your Extracta.
The tank design on the Jaguar is as it is for a reason. Airflow has been optimised with minimum turbulence, meaning max. performance with less use of de-foamer. I bought my last de-foamer about 2 years ago, I used it that rarely. Still got about 2 litres left.
As with the small detail of a dump valve mounted higher to prevent seal damage, you will hopefully now appreciate the attention to detail that has gone into the Jaguar family of machines.
No other portable machine can offer the same amount of beneficial features as the Jaguar. And Solution have a superb reputation for customer service.
BTW, I rarely used my Jaguar as a portable, I used it as an electric truck mount with extra tanks in the van. Power to spare.
Safe and happy cleaning:smile:
